Nicolas started his sporting career on a saddle rather than behind a steering wheel: he was World Mountain Bike Champion 10 times between 1991 and 2002. In 2003 he switched his attention to rallying, winning the Peugeot Trophy in France at his first attempt. His hectic career continued in 2004 when Peugeot gave him six drives in the World Championship and in 2006 Nicolas became French Champion in a 307 WRC. In 2008 he won the Intercontinental Rally Challenge drivers’ title. He will begin the 2010 IRC season in a works Skoda Fabia S2000.
