Hänninen hopes ‘feeling’ will keep him clear

Juho Hänninen says he is confident that the special ‘feeling’ he has will bring him his first victory of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge season.

The works Škoda driver is more than half a minute clear of the chasing pack on Rally Argentina with seven stages left to run on Sunday. He is confident he can hold his lead, despite running first on the road.

"We don't expect to lose much time running first on the road tomorrow, but we'll have to see what happens," said Hänninen. "Saturday has been very good. We haven't been driving flat out, but with a small safety margin. The feeling was very good today and I felt very relaxed, and when you feel like that it is quite easy to set good stage times. If the feeling is right, you have to make full use of it."
