After SS6: Hänninen´s lead increases

Škoda’s Juho Hänninen (pictured left) has increased his advantage on Rally Argentina to almost 20 seconds with his fourth stage win of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge qualifier. Guy Wilks has moved ahead of Kris Meeke for second after the Peugeot 207 driver’s decision to run a hard compound tyre backfired.

IRC newcomer Nasser Al-Attiyah’s hopes of a points finish have faltered after the Qatari picked up two punctures during the stage.

Overall positions after SS6

1 Hänninen 55m22.6s
2 Wilks +19.1s
3 Meeke +20.6s
4 Kopecký +1m04.2s
5 Villagra +1m57.5s
6 Pozzo +2m10.7s
