23 May 2012 00:26 More French success for IRC star Bouffier Bryan Bouffier, who hopes to contest more rounds of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge this season, has continued his strong run of results in the French championship.

The Delta Racing Peugeot 207 Super 2000 finished third overall on Rallye due Limousin in France last weekend as the leading S2000 runner.

Bouffier, who won Rallye Monte Carlo in 2011 when it counted as a round of the IRC, said: "The conditions were really difficult and it was important not to make any mistakes.  Sometimes it seemed to be threatening to rain just as we were making the tyre choice, then, as soon as it rained, the sun dried up the roads very quickly. On the whole we made all the right choices and I'd like to thank the Michelin technicians for their useful advice.”

He continued: “It's great to have another French championship victory; I love the competition, which is always very strong. The Delta Rally team worked well and once more the Peugeot 207 S2000 showed that it can fight.”
