Broadcast media accreditation procedures

International Broadcast Media wishing to apply for Accreditation for any of the IRC events please follow the procedure below:

1. Accreditation principles

  1. Broadcast Media should apply for accreditation on Event by Events basis only.
  2. Television channels, TV production companies or agencies are asked to conform to the following principles in order to ensure that media accreditation is given for the right access level.
  3. IRC consider the media pass is a working tool to be used only by authorised media who complete the criteria as in several territories there are exclusive broadcasters and therefore contractual obligations apply.
  4. TV and Radio media must send their application to:

  5. Websites: In case that motorsport or non motorsports websites wishes to be accredited on event and also to broadcast FIAWTCC footage online, they have to apply for TV accreditation. In this case they will be entitling only for filming accreditation and will not be allowed to take still pictures. If they only wish to be accredited as journalist and cover the event with still pictures or editorial content, they need to apply as Journalists directly to IRC Media Delegate - Richard Rodgens media@ircseries.com

2. Accreditation criteria

  • Each applicant must meet all accreditation criteria and apply either online or via email to: antonios@eurosport.com latest 10 days prior to each IRC event.
    For information, incomplete applications or submitted after the deadline, will not be processed.
  • Broadcast Media who do not wish to attend any IRC events, but would like to obtain footage from the host broadcaster, please contact antonios@eurosport.com in order to receive order forms, footage price lists and a Broadcast Agreement.
  • Applications may be made online, but will not be confirmed until all requested supporting documentation has been received by email. All authorised accredited broadcast media will be send an official confirmation letter 6 days prior to each IRC event and with this letter the applicants will be able to receive their passes from each individual event's welcome center.
  • If the representative(s) is (are) unable to attend the event, then they will to be notify as soon as possible before the opening of the accreditation centre. Failure to inform us of non-attendance may result in further accreditation requests being refused.
  • If a change of representative(s) is to be made, the applicants must be notified as soon as possible. The representative(s) must produce the signed Accreditation Agreement which is emailed with the confirmation when collecting the credential at the event.

No accreditation can be collected without this document

Important note:

  • The recording and use of moving images is strictly controlled under the terms and conditions and should be always followed by a Broadcast Agreement.
  • Under no circumstances may moving images recorded or obtained for broadcast be used or posted online without prior agreement.
  • Applications should NOT be submitted by production houses or film companies wishing to make in-house programmes not for public broadcast on behalf of teams or sponsors. Please contact antonios@eurosport.com
